Analyse your content with Flesch-Kincaid reading ease score, grade level, long sentence detection, and SEO readability recommendations.
The Flesch Reading Ease score (0–100) measures how easy text is to read. Higher scores mean easier reading. Most web content should aim for 60–70 — readable by a 13–15 year old. Content scoring below 30 is considered very difficult (academic level). Content above 80 is very easy (children's books).
For SEO content, readability matters because it directly affects time on page and bounce rate — both signals that influence rankings. Google wants to rank content that people actually read, not content they abandon after a few lines.
The most common readability problem in SEO content is long sentences. Break any sentence over 25 words into two or three shorter ones. Short sentences are not less intelligent — they are more respectful of the reader's time.
